Reminder
All forms and money for our trip to Margam park on Thursday 11th July need to be in by Friday 28th June!
Sports day- postponed
Unfortunately sports day for morning Nursery on Wednesday 26th June will have to be postponed. Whilst I realise that tomorrow is due to be sunny, we have sadly had a lot of rain over the past two weeks, this means that the field is too wet to put equipment on safely, and pupils would get wet and soggy. We are hoping for much better weather next week and so it is with regret that we need to postpone.
However, the good news is that the new date for our sports day is Thursday 4th July.(Weather permitting). So not long to wait! Please check the weather forecast before then and ensure that your child has a hat and sun cream if appropriate.

This term there is lots going on , here are some dates for your diary-
17th June- RSPB workshops (Mornings only- please make sure children are dressed appropriately to spend the morning outside)
26th June- Sports day- weather permitting( Mornings only)
27th June- Sports day-weather permitting (Afternoons only)
1st July- Pori Drwy Stori performance (mornings only)
11th July- Trip to Margam Park
12th July- Reports out
18th July- Class party/ last day
19th &22nd July- Inset days
Easter activities to do over the holidays!
Easter
A few reminders of what's going on next week- 8th April 2019!
Next week Nursery are going to be busy with loads of Easter activities and crafts, we are all very excited!
On Wednesday 10th the BBC are in school with us with their 'Ridiculous Rhyme Show'- consent forms have been sent out, if we haven't received the forms back unfortunately the children will be unable to take part. If you need another form please come and see me! (This is for morning Nursery only)
On Friday 12th we will be having our Easter Bonnet parade, please send in any hats or creations that you have been busy making for the children to show off 
We painted pictures of ourselves. We used mirrors to look at what colour our eyes were, and what colour our hair was. The children did really well using the right colours for everything.
For our 'r' week we used our creative resources and make rockets!
We used our 2D and 3D shapes to make rockets too!!
Christmas time we had lots of fun making our snowmen to sell in the Christmas enterprise.
We all helped decorate the board and made posters to go around it so everyone knew what we were selling.
In Nursery we have a fantastic reading tent, where we go and share books with our Jungle pals 
We really enjoyed making porridge, We experimented using lots of different tools. We had to add water to the oats, but not too much otherwise it wouldn't work. We got very messy but it was lots of fun.
We have been working very hard over the last few months on our number recognition. We went on a number Jack hunt and when we found all the letters we worked together to put them in order.
We are also very good with our Numicon recognition. We can find the right numbers and have been starting to put them in order. They look like steps if they are in the right order!
