TOPIC - We're Going on a Treasure Hunt
Pirate Pete visited our class this week!. He crashed his ship and has lost all his treasure. He wants us to help build a new ship and find his treasure. We will be exploring floating and sinking, looking at maps to find treasure in the garden and learning all about pirates! We hope to end the term with a pirate party!
Spring Term
TOPIC - Kindness is our SUPERPOWER!
The topic will be split in to three sections
-How to be kind to ourselves, where we will be exploring healthy eating, tooth brushing, hygiene and mindfulness in order to make our own ‘self care packages’.
-How to be kind to others, where we will make cards, complete acts of kindness and share our learning with the residents of Glasfryn House.
-How to be kind to the world, where we will complete a litter pick around the school, discuss how to save water and also how to look after animals.
Autumn Term
Starting Nursery is a new and exciting milestone for both you and your child. I understand that that you may be feeling nervous and anxious about you child's new adventure but please be reassured they will be safe, well looked after and having lots of fun making new friends and exploring! Please do not hesitate to speak to me about any concerns at the door or on class dojo!
This term is all about settling into routines, making new friends and learning through play. Pupils will opportunities to explore all areas of the indoor and outdoor classrooms. Our topic this term is 'Sing a song of Sixpence'. Each week we will be learning and performing a new Nursery rhyme. This topic focuses on Literacy and expressive Art skills. We will use our creative side to explore and perform with our friends.
Things to remember:
Bring a Piece of fruit and drink of water for snack every day (Please label all items)
Monday- Muddy Monday (Wear old clothes and wellies to School)
