Little Lambs - Mrs Rowden

Croeso Little Lambs!

What a wonderful start to the new school year, we have all had great fun learning together.

We have a lovely large classroom with access to our garden area. It is so important that we are dressed appropriatley for the weather - every day.

Attendance - It is wonderful to see our 'Little Lambs' every day, on time. Please try to arrive at school on time - we open the door at 8:40am and it closes at 9:00am. Our session ends at 11:20am.

Class Dojo - Class Dojo is our main form of communication. We post lots of updates and messages. We also send some wonderful photographs to show our families all of the fun we have been having.

Fruit/Snack - Every day we all sit together to enjoy a healthy snack. The children are welcome to bring in their own health snack and water or to pay 30p a day for fruit from school.

School Uniform - School uniform is not compulsory. However, it does save the 'what to wear question' each morning. You are able to purchase school uniform from our school office or we allow plain blue jumpers and white polo shirts, available in most supermarkets.

Label - Please label EVERYTHING with your child's name - coats, bags, bottles, jumpers, cardigans - it really does help us.

Our Daily Timetable is below (this can change from day to day - depending on the children's interests);

Sound of the Week

We focus on a 'Sound of the Week' - all of our enhanced and continous provision reinforce this sound.

For the first half term we are learning the sounds - S   A   T   P   I   N

Please practice listening to and writing these letters at home!

Stories and Rhymes

Stories and Rhymes are a vital part of the time in school - we learn lots of rhymes and songs and sing them every day - in English and in Welsh.

Dough Disco

We use 'Dough Disco' to help strengthen our fingers and to develop our fine and gross motor skills.

You can practice at home. We enjoy the songs below;
