Fruit and Water
Fruit is available to buy at school for 30p a day or £1.50 a week, or you can send some in from home (please label it with your child’s name).
⚠️ If you send grapes, please cut them in half lengthways for safety.
Children are welcome to bring in water or very diluted squash in a bottle which has their name on.
Clothing
Please label everything you send in—bags, coats, jumpers, etc.—so nothing gets lost. School Uniform is encouraged and can be purchased from the school office.
As the weather changes, please ensure they are dress appropriately for that day. In autumn, that means a warm waterproof coat, hat, and scarf. Nursery will access the outdoor provision in daily.

Monster Phonics
Monster Phonics makes learning to read exciting and fun for our nursery children. Using colourful characters and stories, it helps children to connect sounds with letters in a way that feels playful and easy to remember. This approach not only builds early reading and spelling skills but also keeps children engaged and confident as they take their very first steps into phonics.
Stories and Rhymes
Part of our daily routine is reading stories and singing nursery rhymes. They open up a world of imagination, helping little ones explore new ideas while enjoying the rhythm and fun of language. Through stories and songs, children develop early listening and speaking skills, share laughter with friends, and begin a lifelong love for reading. Most importantly, these moments create joy, comfort, and a sense of togetherness in the classroom.
Pori Drwy Stori
Pori Drwy Stori inspires a love of books, stories and rhymes and supports children to develop speaking, listening and numeracy skills at home and in the setting. It nurtures a love of reading from the very start, making story time a happy and memorable part of everyday life.
If there is anything at all that I can help you with, please do not hesitate to message me on ClassDojo and I will do my best!
Thank you,
Miss Mathias and Team Lambs
